Reviews: USAAF-style Leather Jacket

Published 13 November 2013, 16:30

Epic Militaria is currently selling a fine quality reproduction of the famous World War Two USAAF A2 leather jacket.

Made from a very soft and supple brand of dark leather, the jackets have a noticeably luxurious feel. Each has two button-down front pockets, at the side of which are two additional 'hand warmer' pockets - not strictly part of the original design but a most welcome modern addition, especially with those chilly winter months ahead. The jackets also feature the correct knitted cuffs and waist bands, shoulder straps and button-down shirt style collar, as well as the appropriate 'storm flap' over the zipper. The lining is made from cotton in a russet brown colour, and two internal pockets are included as well as dual leather pen holders. Each jacket costs £120 – see the website for more details.
