News: Boeing 737 MAX 9 Rolls Out

Second 737 MAX variant debuts

Boeing today rolled-out its first 737 MAX 9 at its Renton plant.

The 737 MAX 9 will seat a maximum of 220 passengers and offer 3,515nm in range.

Systems tests, fuelling and engine runs will now take place before a first flight “in the coming weeks”, a Boeing statement said.

The 737 MAX 9 is scheduled to enter service in 2018.

The first 737 MAX 8 delivery is due in the second quarter.
