Results from international cooperation revealed
Pilot Chris Godfrey was awarded the Best Presented Warbird trophy at the Avalon International Airshow in Geelong, Australia, which was held on March 3 to 5. Chris won the gong for his superbly maintained North American T-28D Trojan 51-3588 (VH-PFM). Having acquired it in 2012, Chris substantially refurbished the aircraft and returned it to the airshow ‘circuit’. WITH THANKS TO PHIL BUCKLEY
Mitchells from around the US will once again take to the skies before landing at the National Museum of the USAF as part of a two-day tribute commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Tokyo Raid, April 17-18. The next edition of FlyPast, out next month, will feature a special Mitchell-related feature and a list of airworthy surviving aircraft.

To celebrate the completion of its three year restoration of the Weston Airfield Control Tower and Pilots Block, The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare is hosting a very special weekend. On April 8-9 these historic buildings will be taken back to their hey-day of the 1940s with the construction of a huge World War Two Living History Encampment on the airfield.

The RAF Cosford Air Show is set to debut a special flypast from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight on Sunday June 11. This year the BBMF celebrates its 60th Anniversary - its display at Cosford will feature four fighters (rather than the more usual two) performing alongside the Avro Lancaster.
